About

Hair Peace & Hope 5K Run/Walk, founded in 2016, is an annual community movement in Miramar, Florida dedicated to supporting people living with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease (MCTD) and other autoimmune conditions, such as lupus, scleroderma, and rheumatoid arthritis. The mission began with a focus on providing hair prostheses for hair loss and expanded to assist with medical copays, transportation, and wellness needs. Why Join

Your registration helps us to provide medical assistance, hair prosthesis, and resources to those with Mixed Connective Tissue Disease, or an autoimmune condition, to receive the care they need.

We invite you to run or walk at our certified course at Miramar Regional Park. Race t-shirts and finisher medals are guaranteed for the first 500 registrants. Shirt sizes allocated on a first-come, first-serve basis and not guaranteed.

Virtual Race Option

The virtual race can be done on your own time and at your own pace. The only requirement is to email a screenshot of your logged miles from your running app of choice and we'll mail your t-shirt and medal! Send by email to info@hairpeace5k.com
